While at the initial go Google Buzz looks like a combination of Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Slideshare, Yahoo Buzz, Digg, Docstoc to name a few and Email at last...all at One Place - At Your Gmail!.

Buzz launched yesterday on 9th Feb, 2010...Google Buzz is not available to many user's in it's initial launched stage but it will be accessible to all Gmail user's in coming next few days.....Like I too got access to Buzz today on 10th Feb.

Here's the welcome message you'll see from Google if you get the Buzz access once you log in to your Gmail.

Google Buzz introduction from Google itself:-
Google Buzz is a new way to start conversations about the things you find interesting. It's built right into Gmail, so you don't have to peck out an entirely new set of friends from scratch — it just works. If you think about it, there's always been a big social network underlying Gmail.
