As I mentioned in my previous blog post on Apple iPhone 3G Vodafone along with Bharti Airtel are going to sell Apple iPhone in India through their stores. When Vodafone & Bharti Airtel has announced the date of launch i.e 22nd August, 2008 and that time they kept the Price for iPhone secret and un-disclosed.
Today, I received the email regarding availability of Apple iPhone from Vodafone, since I have booked the Apple iPhone 3G from Vodafone and Airtel both online.
So, the email from Vodafone says that iPhone 3G in India will be available in 8GB & 16GB models, priced at Rs 31,000 and Rs 36,100 respectively.
If we compare the price for which Apple iPhone is available in different parts of world, especially USA it was costing around 200$ and in India they are selling at Rs 31,000/- (700 $ USD) & Rs, 36,100 (820 $ USD).
Why there is so huge difference in iPhone price?
Is Indian economy is so weak or we Indian's earn more than people from different part of World!
This is not fair, I was thinking that Apple iPhone 3G price in India will be around 25,000/- to 30,000/-
Well I think I have decide not to buy as if now, will wait or will buy unblocked iPhone from USA.
